Moving in procedures Back

A warm welcome to Notting Hill Apartments. To ensure an efficient and safe move for all concerned, the procedures outlined below MUST be followed before your move is permitted :

1. Moves during Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm and Saturday from 8am to 12noon only. Each resident is given a time slot of 3 hours to complete their move.
2. Book in your move with our Caretakers by calling 0401 745 224 at least 24 hours prior to ensure there is an available time slot for you.
3. Please prepare a Security Deposit of $500 (in cash only) This Security Deposit is collected by our Caretakers when you sign in the Move In/Out Register Book; and is refundable on satisfactory completion of your move. Moves will not be permitted without payment of this Security Deposit.
4. Our Caretakers will issue an official receipt to acknowledge payment of your Security Deposit. Please keep this receipt in a safe place to reclaim your Security Deposit later.
5. A lift will be locked and dedicated to facilitate your move. Our Caretakers will instruct you on the proper use of the lift. Only use the designated lift. DO NOT use unprotected lifts for moves at any time.
6. Once your move is completed, please contact our Caretakers. They will check for any damages etc. caused by your move. If all is in proper order, the Security Deposit will be fully returned to you upon final sign-off. Please bring your receipt as proof of your Security Deposit payment.
7. If damages are found, our Caretakers will advise the Owners Corporation Manager who will contact you in regards to the cost of fixing these damages. Your Security Deposit will be used to reinstate damages before any balance is released back to you.
8. Please follow any on-site directions of our Caretakers who are there to assist you.
9. It is your responsibility to observe and adhere to all street and car parking signs in and surrounding Notting Hill Apartments during your move.
10. You are liable for any parking fines incurred and/or damage to overhead services such as fire sprinklers, light fittings, power lines, pipework etc. and any associated costs of emergency services attendance.
